Field Journal of the Theta Expedition (Redacted)
84 pages recovered from a doomed survey team. Roughly 40 percent remains legible. The rest was struck through by a hand we could not identify.
Case Notes
Recovered from a supply cache eleven days after the Theta Expedition was declared lost. The handwriting matches three of the five expedition members for the first forty pages. After that, it is consistent — but it does not match anyone on the roster.
Roughly forty percent of the text remains legible. The redactions are not the Institute’s; they were already present on recovery, struck through in a substance the lab was never able to identify or fully remove.
The last legible entry is a supply count. It is accurate. It also lists one tent as occupied that the expedition manifest records as spare.
