Listed for acquisition for six hours on a Tuesday, then pulled without a stated reason. The listing itself was never removed — only the ability to complete the acquisition. You are welcome to keep reading. You are not welcome to take it home.
Case Notes
Two acquisitions were completed in the six hours the listing was live. Both were refunded within the hour, at the buyers’ request, before either shipment could be confirmed as sent. Neither buyer would say why. Both used almost identical wording when declining to explain.
The recall order came from within the Institute, not from any outside authority. No name is attached to the order. The staff member who processed it does not recall processing it, and the request to review the matter further was itself later withdrawn, by the same person, in writing they do not remember producing.
The file was not deleted. It was decided, collectively and without a vote, that it should simply stop being for sale.
